 CANCELLATION POLICY 

Cancellation and reschedules have a lasting effect.  For that reason, if you have to cancel or reschedule we ask that it is done at least  5-7days in advance of your appointment. That way we can fill in that day and we do not lose working opportunities but also you avoid a fee. 



  • We require a 5-day notice to reschedule any type of appointment. Failure to do so will result in a $75 fee.

  • We require a 7-day notice if you are canceling any type of appointment.
 Failure to do so will result in a 50% cost of service fee.

  • Down 2 Detail reserves the right to cancel or reschedule appointments following weather or equipment failure costing you no fee.  Note you will have the responsibility to reschedule with a day that best suits your needs. 

 

 

We understand that sometimes life happens and it is beyond our control. Our goal is to provide top-quality professional service to all who request our assistance. Our cancellation policy is in effect to provide fair opportunity to all. Please note that this policy is in effect once you book an appointment.

DISCLAIMERS

GENERAL 

  • When detailing customers cars we take the greatest care possible. However, if any mechanical or electrical/electronic components fail for no reason while being cleaned, Down 2 Detail will not accept any responsibility to make repairs. Examples of such failures could be windows, auto-starting, convertible roofs, seat locking, and electrical or screen display failure. etc. 

  • When having your auto detailed we ask that the customer identify or point out any component or parts that are loose, broken, or in condition to fail so we can be extra cautious.

  • In any case, Down 2 Detail is not responsible for repairing failing parts that tear, break, or come loose in the cleaning process.  

INTERIOR DETAIL

  • Customers are expected to clear their items from their vehicle before the appointment. Down 2 Detail will not be held responsible for any lost or missing items. There may be an extra charge to remove and repack owner items left in the auto. Including the trunk. Failure to do so may result in not getting that area cleaned and a fee. 

  • Child car seat(s) should be removed before the appointment if you wish the seat cleaned under the child seat. We are not responsible for re-installing child seats to meet specifications. 

EXTERIOR DETAIL

  • Down 2 Detail is not responsible for any paint damages during the polishing/waxing or external detailing process that may occur on painted surfaces that are aging, that are of inadequate cover, dean, or that have started to lift or crack off the surface. 

  • Down 2 Detail will not take responsibility for any damage to the paint protective film. (PPF) We ask all customers before starting to let us know if they have any sort of coating we should be aware of so we take extra care to not damage the coverage. 

  • For vehicles with aftermarket window tinting, we clean the glass as carefully as possible and do not use any sharp cleaning tools. In any event, we do not take responsibility for any film that lifts or breaks during the cleaning process. 

SPECIFIC ITEMS 

  • Down 2 Detail will not be responsible for replacing weak or dead batteries. We leave doors open during the cleaning process which can drain a battery. 

  •  If your vehicle automatically locks, please let us know as we do not cover services to unlock vehicles with keys left inside. 

  • We have your permission to take pictures or videos of your vehicle for marketing purposes. 

We appreciate your trust very much. We hope that you will respect our policy and read over it before booking with Down 2 Detail as this comes into effect once an auto detail is booked. Thank you for your understanding without you we would not do what we do!
